Our team of world-class talent, event producers, and creative professionals brings precision, passion, and professionalism to every event we touch. We are seeking an Event Staffing Manager to join our team — a strong communicator and relationship builder who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and takes ownership from start to finish.

About the Role

  • The Event Staffing Manager oversees all staffing operations for EMG’s employee-based event team, including Event Leads, Photo Booth Attendants, and Production Staff. This role ensures every event is properly staffed, supported, and aligned with EMG’s standard of excellence.

  • Oversee all event staffing operations, including scheduling, roster maintenance, and coverage for employee-based roles.
  • Create and manage work schedules for Event Leads, Photo Booth Attendants, and Production Staff.
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with staff regarding assignments, expectations, and event details.
  • Ensure late-breaking changes are proactively communicated — not just noted — to all impacted staff.
  • Serve as the conduit between EMG leadership and the event team, reinforcing company culture, policies, and updates.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Relations Manager and Talent Staffing Manager to align on training, policy enforcement, and personnel management.
  • Address and resolve staffing conflicts or performance concerns directly and professionally.
  • Partner with the Operations Department in weekly Logistics Alignment Meetings to confirm event schedules, van loads, and on-site needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations.
  • Prepare and present staffing reports as needed to management.
  • Maintain calm and composure during last-minute changes, demonstrating efficient, solution-oriented decision-making.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Elegant Music Group management.

Knowledge, Skill, and Experience Required

  • 2–3 years of managerial experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to lead with empathy while enforcing accountability and standards.
  • Demonstrated capacity to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse personnel.
  • Comfortable managing conflict and having difficult conversations when necessary.
  • Able to adapt quickly to dynamic environments with professionalism and calm under pressure.
  • Familiarity with music, events, or production industries preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in HR and staffing technologies (e.g., ADP, SmartSuite) a plus.

Compensation and Benefits / What We Offer You

  • Competitive salary range: $55,000–$65,000
  • Fully covered medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • Company-matched retirement program
  • Flexible hybrid work schedule
  • Unlimited time-off policy (with managerial approval)
  • A collaborative, creative, and supportive team environment
  • The opportunity to lead staffing for one of the nation’s most respected private event companies
