Hey guys… Happy 2017! I first just want to thank you all for checking out this part of the site. It’s been a project I’ve had in mind for a while and I’m excited to finally bring it to you. So let’s get right into it.

Here’s the plan for Tom’s Threads…I’m going to be posting (probably once a month to start) about fashion, fitness, grooming and styling tips, accessorizing, prepping for your wedding day, and building your own personal brand…pretty much everything the modern-day gentleman should know to look his best both on the wedding day and in everyday life. I’ll even share some of my own experiences prepping for my wedding and some of the things I take into account when it comes to my daily fashion. The beauty here…there’s no right or wrong answers, but hopefully Tom’s Threads will give you some insight for looking your best, no matter what the occasion.

So let’s take a look at some of the more specific upcoming topics:

  • The Basics / The Gentleman’s Starter Kit: getting off to a good start each day, things every guy should have in his closet, fitness and nutrition tips, pulling yourself together for the right occasions, etc.
  • Suiting/Tuxing: types, cuts, colors, fit. Everything you need to know about how to pick the perfect suit (or suits – can never have too many…although our bank accounts might tell us otherwise).
  • Grooming: Hair styles, products to own, beards vs. clean shaven … I see this being a debate down the road!
  • Accessories: Does this even need a description?

Of course there will be a lot more but these will get us started. Hope you guys enjoy Tom’s Threads. I’m going to do my best to bring you some really awesome tips and inside looks to a lot of things most men probably don’t know (your significant others will thank us later). I’m really excited to get things under way.

If you any have questions that you want answered or a topic you’d like me to weigh in on, contact me at

Here’s to looking your best…until next post. Ciao!
